Chauffeured transfers, built around how Georgia is really travelled.
A small team of drivers and dispatchers, moving travellers across Georgia since 2018.
We started with one Sprinter and a group WhatsApp
Popular Taxi Tbilisi began in 2018 as a small operation servicing winter transfers to Gudauri. One van, three drivers, a shared WhatsApp group for every dispatch.
That rhythm is still how we run. Bookings flow through a single dispatch team; drivers rotate through airport, mountain and winery routes. Seven vehicle classes now cover everything from solo sedan to 55-seat coach — but the operating principle has not shifted: one fixed price, one named driver per booking, one person on call when something changes.
Five years, measured
- 5+ years in operation
- 100+ vetted drivers on the roster
- 1,200+ transfers completed this year
- 4.9 ★ average traveller rating
Six things we hold to, every ride
These are the non-negotiables — the baseline every driver and dispatcher signs off on before a trip goes out.
-
Fixed prices, quoted upfront
Every route in every class has a price you see before you book. No meter, no surge, no post-ride recalculation.
-
Flight monitoring included
Airport pickups track your inbound flight. Pickup time shifts automatically — you never call to say the plane was late.
-
English-speaking drivers
Every driver speaks functional English; a handful are fluent. Meeting point is agreed in writing before the journey begins.
-
Family friendly
Child and booster seats are fitted before pickup — a booking extra, not an after-thought.
-
EUR or USD
Book and pay in either currency. Live NBG rates are applied daily, and you can mix: quote in EUR or USD, settle securely online.
-
Reachable, always
A real dispatcher is on call 24/7 — phone, WhatsApp, email. Nobody on our team talks to travellers through a bot.
The whole country, not a radius around one city
Transfers start or end at Tbilisi (TBS), Kutaisi (KUT) and Batumi (BUS) airports, and reach every corner from Kazbegi in the Caucasus to the wine country of Kakheti, the Black Sea coast, Svaneti’s mountain villages, and the ski resorts of Gudauri and Bakuriani. Every route carries a fixed price — even the long ones.
How we actually run
Chauffeured transfers made for the way Georgia is really travelled
Popular Taxi Tbilisi started in 2018 as a small operation servicing winter transfers to Gudauri. One van, three drivers, a shared WhatsApp group for every dispatch. Every client was a hand-off from another — a hotel, a guide, a traveller who had been picked up the week before.
That rhythm is still how we run. Bookings flow through a single dispatch team; drivers rotate through airport, mountain and winery routes so every one of them knows each corner of the country personally. Seven vehicle classes now cover everything from a solo sedan to a 55-seat coach, but the operating principle has not shifted: one fixed price, one named driver per booking, one person on call when something changes.

Every route carries a fixed price — even the long ones.
